Physiotherapist & Pilates Practitioner
Grant is a Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist, who came from a strong Exercise Prescription background prior to his Physiotherapy studies. He has a special interest in using advanced exercise principles in rehabilitation. Grant’s ability to integrate modern Physiotherapy techniques with cutting-edge Exercise Prescription allows him to fast-track his clients’ return to sport, return to work, and often reach levels higher than their pre-injury status.
For example, in Grant’s opinion an ankle sprain is not resolved when the client is simply able to walk and run pain-free. Using advanced balance and co-ordination training, before progressing into plyometrics (power) training, Grant will restore the important neuromuscular control to prevent future sprains. With a strong interest in sports, Grant has worked with some of New Zealand’s top young rugby talent from the Wellington Rugby Academy.
He has also been Principal Physiotherapist at several ITF international tennis tournaments, keeping professional tennis players on the court in a high-pressure environment. Joining Live Physio and Pilates in North Fremantle, Grant now has the benefit of working closely with some of Perth’s top Pilates instructors. This allows the most comprehensive rehabilitation, using the powerful tool of Clinical Pilates to iron out underlying imbalances or deficits.
If you have an acute injury, back/neck pain, or a nagging injury that won’t fully resolve, Grant Twentyman can stimulate you back to full function and beyond.
